130 PRONGHORN DOE LICENSES STILL AVAILABLE

PUBELO, Colo. – The Colorado Division of Wildlife is reminding hunters that  there are remaining licenses leftover for those who want an opportunity to harvest a pronghorn doe in the early December season.  There are about 130 tags still available for the five-day season that starts December 4.

The licenses are valid on private land in Game Management Units 128,129,133,134,135, 140,141 and147.

“These units are in portions of Pueblo, Huerfano, Otero and Las Animas counties,” said Mike Trujillo, DOW area wildlife manager from Pueblo.  “Hunters should keep in mind that these licenses are only valid on private land.  We encourage people to get permission to hunt private land before purchasing a license.”

Licenses may be purchased at Division of Wildlife offices or any retail outlet that sells hunting and fishing licenses.   The hunt code is: AF128P5R.

The cost of a license is $31 for Colorado residents or $346 for non-residents.

“These licenses are considered List B,” said Trujillo. “That means hunters who have not already hunted pronghorn this year, or hunters who purchased a buck tag but have not already purchased a List B pronghorn license, are eligible to buy one.”
