Some of you may find humor in this while others may cringe. Nurse Ruth had a knee surgery recently, so it is time to nurse the nurse. The problem arose at bedtime. You see, I have a certain slumber audio problem, I snore. As a result I am banished to the far end of the house for actual sleeping. The question arose, how would Ruth contact me, if she needed me for help, during the night. After much thought I realized we had the perfect intercom. We had purchased a “training collar” for our new dog, Duke. This collar has a remote that sends a signal to the collar and it either vibrates or delivers an electric shock. So, I now spend the night hoping that Ruth hits the right button.
