Activities planned for this weekend at Navajo State Park
ARBOLES, Colo. – Navajo State Park invites the public to special programs this weekend.
On Saturday August 19 at 10 a.m. Located in the conference room of the Visitor Center nature arts and crafts will be taking place. This week visitors will be making mason jar nature candle holders.
On Sunday, August 20 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Located in the pavilion next to the visitor center;
there will be a presentation and display on the solar eclipse. Kids can enjoy a few small solar eclipse activities as well.
On Monday, August 21 from 11am to Noon, Located at the Visitor Center; visitors will be able to watch the solar eclipse using special glasses here at the park. There will also be a small display table as well.
These programs are free with the purchase of a $7 daily pass per vehicle or an annual pass for $70. All materials and gear will be provided.

Navajo State Park, located along Colorado High 151 southwest of Pagosa Springs, offers more than 130 camp sites- many with full hook-ups, and three cabins are available for rent.
