Do you want to try backpacking but need some encouragement? Perhaps you are an experienced backpacker but want to learn more about nature?
The San Juan Mountains Association is offering a one night backpacking trip August 28-29. The trip will contain various educational components and will take place within the San Juan National Forest.
A pre-trip meeting will take place on August 18. Trip leader MK Thompson will discuss equipment needed and where to buy or rent it. Whether you’re an expert or a novice backpacker, you’re sure to have fun on this overnight trip.
