Our sidewalk chalk artists celebrate  Colorfest coming this weekend.

Saturday, September 10, 2011
ColorFest Weekend features hot air balloons, music, beer, wine, food and more!

 Friday, September 9th
6pm – 9pm – Passport to Pagosa Food & Wine Fest
Wine & Food Festival in Town Park. Music by John Graves. Nine restaurants participating in the Taste of Pagosa. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at the gate and are available at the Chamber of Commerce. For more information, call (970) 264-2360.

Saturday, September 10th
7am – 8:30am – Mass Balloon Ascension in Downtown Pagosa, near Hot Springs Blvd.

10am – 5pm – Pagosa Springs Artist Studio & Gallery Tour

11am – 8pm – Colorfest Bands, Brews, Etc. in Town Park

4:30 – dark – Balloon Glow & Activities in Town Park (next to Bands, Brews, Etc)

 Sunday, September 11th
8am – Mass Balloon Ascension at Pagosa West

10am – 5pm – Pagosa Springs Artist Studio & Gallery Tour

Balloons, balloons and more balloons! The balloons seems to bring out the kid in everyone.

With the roar of the flame blast the balloons slowly lift off.

Balloon volunteers and the public scramble for a ride.

Only a few seconds after lift off the balloon rises above the close hills and the view of the mountains of the Continental Divide Range around Pagosa is fantistic.

Into the heavens.
