What is a Comprehensive Plan?
A comprehensive plan, also known as a general plan or master plan, is a document designed to guide the future actions of a community. It presents a community vision for the future, with goals ranging from short term to the long term, and well-thought out strategies on how these goals can be successfully implemented. The Town, consultant team, and general public will be working together to create a functional plan that will help shape and guide the community for the next ten years and includes a true “Community Vision” that everyone can be proud of.
