Geology of Ice Cave Ridge Interpretive Walk with

Take a pleasant walk and learn about the geology of Ice Cave Ridge and the surrounding area.  Walk will take place Wednesday August 15th , from 9-11am at the Piedra River trailhead. Wear walking shoes/boots, dress appropriately for the weather, and bring drinking water.

 

Meet at the Piedra River Trailhead northwest of Pagosa Springs.  From Highway 160, go north on Piedra Road for about 17 miles.  Shortly after you cross over a bridge (the Piedra River) there will be a parking area on your left side.  Park and be ready for a great interpretive walk.
