July 1st Concert
Hey GGP Supporters, bring your friends, neighbors and house guests to the First San Juan Sounds outdoor concert benefitting the Geothermal Greenhouse Partnership this Saturday, July 1 from 7-9 p.m. at the fabulous GGP outdoor amphitheater in Centennial Park. Featuring the popular band Hello Dollface, just back from their East Coast tour, this concert is the perfect way to start the 4th of July festivities.
Tickets are $30 per person (youth under 12 are free with adult ticket purchase) and are available on line at www.pagosagreen.org or at the door. Doors open at 6 with music starting at 7 so come early and purchase a beer and brat from Pagosa Morning Rotary and enjoy a summer evening along the river. Current GGP members will receive two free drink tickets at the door. Bring a low-back lawn chair for upper seating or enjoy amphitheater seating right down by the band. And wear your dancing shoes as this group will get you right out of those chairs.
All proceeds from this event will support the build-out of the Geothermal Greenhouse Park; the most exciting and innovative project in the area. The GGP provides Life Long Learning workshops, youth education and the opportunity to see how food can be grown locally using sustainable gardening practices and renewable energy. Our next educational workshop is Saturday, July 8 studying the native plants of Pagosa parks including our native Pagosa Sky Rocket.
Go to our website at www.pagosagreen.org for details. Thank you to our concert sponsors 1st Southwest Bank, Ears 2 U, and Bank of Colorado for their continuing support and to all of the businesses, organizations and individuals who have given so much to make this important project a reality.
