Passport to Pagosa Wine & Food Festival Sept. 10th

Passport to Pagosa Wine & Food Festival will be back in full force this year. Wines from around the region as well as from around the world will be featured. There were some fantastic Malbecs, Pinot Noirs and Sauvignon Blancs last year, and this year’s wines will be equally delicious. Restaurants and caterers will be out with some signature dishes, desserts, and creative fare all to be pared with the wines or one of Pagosa Brewing’s famous ales. Competitions will be held for categories such as Best Vegetarian, Most Flavorful, Most Original, Best Dessert and a People’s Choice award. Stay tuned for the restaurants and caterers that will be participating. Tickets will go on sale at the beginning of August with the cost being $35 in advance and $40 at the door. The price includes a collectable glass and plate. The Passport will be held rain or shine under the tent in the Athletic Field in the Town Park area from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
