Gecko Marathon

We told her it was all down hill from here and she went into  a fit of levitation!

See the photo above in expanded format here.

The race is run in absolutely beautiful terrain with chill-bump scenery and, amazingly, it takes place in the Town of Pagosa Springs!

The southern portion of the race is run on the Levine property. A big thanks to the Levine family.

Got tunes, will run!

The race is run on double track, single track and cross country.

In places it seemed all uphill!

In the spirit!

Portions of the course is in wide open meadows while other parts are in stands of giant pines.

The aid station at the summit of Reservoir Hill is the high point of the run and a steep climb. The station volunteers had to hike in with the supplies!

All runners are given Gecko Foundation necklaces at the finish.

Results pending.
