Supporting The GGP Now
New grants will allow us to build our next two growing domes; the Community Garden Dome and the Innovation Dome, starting in the spring of 2018.The Community Dome will provide local organizations (individual gardeners can also share garden space) the opportunity to garden together to grow pesticide free nutritious food. The Innovation Dome will display the latest greenhouse technology in a controlled environment emphasizing and teaching best practices in water conservation.
Now we need your help even more!
With three growing domes operational in the near future, reliable annual revenues will be needed to buy supplies, maintain the gardens, grow our educational program and most importantly, hire a professional greenhouse manager. Funding is more readily available for capital construction and programming but very difficult to find for hiring staff. Yet, without at least a part time professional greenhouse manager who is knowledgeable in best practices for pesticide free greenhouse production and who can lead our dedicated volunteer staff, our domes cannot thrive.
Thanks to you, we have been very successful in raising over $25,000 to get us started but we need your help so that we can maintain a strong financial picture going forward. One of the best ways you can help us is to become a Sustaining Member. Sustaining members pledge a monthly amount that allows us to accurately predict revenues and budget judiciously so we can grow with a strong and solid financial base. And with a monthly pledge of $20 or more you will also become a Guardian of the Greenhouse with special privileges including your own access to the Education Dome and a special Guardian of the Greenhouse t-shirt. All donations of $250 or more qualify for the Colorado Enterprise Zone Tax Credit. Become a Sustaining Member or make a tax deductible donation today by visiting our web site at Pagosagreen.org.
Thank you so very much for supporting our efforts these past years and making this community-wide project a reality. With your continued support we can continue to Grow Food and Community With Local Energy.
